Water reuse and recycling studies
A study that establishes whether treated wastewater or process water can be reused on site, and what it costs to get there. It ends with a process flow diagram, technology selection, equipment list and budget — not a recommendation without numbers.
What MAM delivers
- Candidate reuse streams identified and characterised
- Target water quality set against the intended reuse (process, cooling, irrigation, or discharge offset)
- Process flow diagram from source stream to reuse point
- Technology and equipment selection sized to the target quality
- Indicative capex and opex budget
Study deliverables
| Deliverable | Scope |
|---|---|
| Process flow diagram | Mapped unit operations from source stream to the target endpoint |
| Technology selection | Treatment technologies matched to feed characteristics and target quality |
| Equipment selection | Sized equipment list against the selected process train |
| Capex / opex budget | Indicative capital and operating cost envelope |
Reuse studies fail commercially more often than they fail technically — the treatment train to hit a given quality is rarely the hard part; the hard part is proving the economics against the cost of continuing to buy fresh water and discharge wastewater. This study is built to answer that question with a number, not a recommendation.
